    1940, 85x15x25 inches, Collection The Norton Museum, West Palm Beach, Florida. Although the patina was severely degraded testing showed most could be recovered saving the delicate original nuances, and, most importantly the artist’s original work.

    Photo 1 shows successful patina recovery test.

    Using solvents and non-ionic soaps, the surface was cleaned of minor corrosion products, old degraded waxes and minor air-bourne debris. The sculpture was then waxed using a specially formulated wax designed to withstand 165 degree surface temperatures in the summer heat of the subtropics.

    Rigorous scheduled maintanence is required.
